A spectacularly beautiful oak tree located in Cabezuela del Valle.
More than its height of 22 metres and a perimeter of nearly five metres, it was the harmonious, near-perfect architecture of the Prado Sancho oak that earned it the declaration as Singular Tree of Extremadura. Take a rest in the shade of this tree with a spectacularly-full, globe-like, regular treetop in Cabezuela del Valle, near the stream of La Lobera. This solitary oak stands at the bottom of a stone enclosure called Prado Sancho. It was lucky enough to escape the mass felling that took place in this region in the late 19th and early 20th century to provide wood for sleepers.
