Every summer the streets of Villanueva de la Serena become a real stage with its theatre performances.
The town comes alive with performing arts within the framework of its most international festival, the Street Theatre Festival. It’s an event not to be missed in Villanueva de la Serena that has been held since the 1980s.
For a few days the town is transformed into a real stage where artists and the public take to the streets with performances that include circus, fireworks, theatre, monologues, street parades and music that fill the town with colour, dancing and shows.
Villanueva is transformed into a real showcase of the performing arts.
