The peculiar orography of this park shelters a host of species of trees and animals.
The Parque de los Pinos in Plasencia occupies five hectares, and has a peculiar orography with its highest point at an altitude of 415 metres above sea level and its lowest at 380. This particular physiognomy is accompanied by indigenous species of trees, such as ashes, pines, holm-oaks and cork-oaks, as well as other types of trees and bushes. This enclosure also contains a significant variety of birds, most notably ducks, geese, storks, herons, cranes and flamingos.
