The rural ethnographic museum offers an interesting and highly educational journey through the rural lifestyle of times gone by. Suitable for all ages.
It was built on the initiative of the parishioners of Huertas de Ánimas, near Trujillo (province of Cáceres) and gives you the opportunity to visit 24 areas which recreate life in a village in Extremadura in times gone by. You will be able to learn about the architecture of the time, with recreations of typical dwellings, a country school house, the wine cellar, etc. It also houses a large collection of the tools and utensils of the trades of yesteryear which will give you a visual idea of how people lived in those times.
