On the banks of the Guadiana river stands a majestic building of sober beauty that is the venue for different events in the city.
The convention centre stands out due to its architectural singularity as the building is a unit of reinforced concrete, and has a raised terrace inside it that provides unique views of the Guadiana river. A majestic work that represents contemporary architecture in the city of Mérida.
Amongst the different areas that make up the whole of this complex, the main one is the central auditorium, which has a capacity for 1,000 people. There is also an exhibition area, conference rooms, spaces for seminars, a dressing-room area and office space.
