The Guadiana river passes through the town of Medellín and, on a level with the Puente de los Austrias bridge, it widens into a spot that has been turned into a natural bathing area for locals and tourists.
Although its official name is Medellín Beach, it is known popularly as the "Costa Breva". The place has been provided with all kinds of facilities for those who want to enjoy a day next to the waters of the Guadiana: a car park, sports facilities, picnic area and bars. -
