If you pass through Bodonal de la Sierra, don't forget to pay a visit to the cork-oak of Los Galaperales. Its height of 15 metres and thickness of 5.27 metres make it one of Extremadura's most imposing specimens. Its elliptical treetop, which is very uniform and dense, is the result of the branches that emerge from its trunk fairly high up.
