The ensemble it forms part of presides over a large space in the centre of the monumental zone of Cáceres.
Constructed in Baroque style by the Society of Jesus in the 18th century, next to a school, they form a monumental group which presides over a large space in the historic centre of the capital city of Cáceres.
On the main façade, under a semicircular arch and inside a niche, is the image of the saint who lends the church his name. It is flanked by two quadrangular towers finished in pyramidal shape.
Inside it you will discover a single nave with side chapels. But the thing that is bound to catch your attention is the main altarpiece, as a canvas representing the famous "miracle of the crab" has been placed between its two Corinthian columns.
