The Jayona mine is one of the town's biggest attractions. Declared a natural monument, it belongs to the Spanish Association of Tourist Caves. This iron mine dates back to 1900. You can visit the inside of the mine, see its different levels, shafts, stalls and remains from the mining work, as well as checking out in person the quality of the its geological diversity.
The most important monument in the town is the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Ara in the foothills of the Sierra Morena mountains, some 7 km from Fuente de Arco.
