This 30-metre-tall cypress stands in a forest of ash trees.
In the municipality of Fregenal de la Sierra, on the way to the shrine of the Virgen de los Remedios and next to the stream of La Mimbre, stands this cypress which has been declared a Singular Tree of Extremadura. It is one of the few trees of this species on the Iberian Peninsula, making it an interesting specimen to visit.
