Converted into a convent in the 18th century.
In the municipality of Jerez de los Caballeros, on a slate rock, we find the chapel of San Benito, a simple 15th-century masonry construction which was turned into a convent in the 18th century. In the 19th century it passed into private ownership. It is comprised of a single nave with a rectangular layout and its walls have two buttresses with splayed openings. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the monument category.
