From embroidery to musical instruments – the creativity of the people in Las Hurdes has turned age-old traditions into art
The Craftsmanship Interpretation Centre is situated in a typical house of Las Hurdes in the small village of Huetre, on the banks of the Hurdano River. Inside these walls you can find all the handmade traditions that the people in Las Hurdes have created over the centuries. Embroidery, musical instruments, basketwork, pottery... all these items are small works of art, the result of the transformation of the materials that come from this land.
