At this spa you can regain your physical wellbeing and discover its Roman remains, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The spa's first constructions date from the 3rd century, in Roman times, and were dedicated to the goddess Juno. Two round thermal baths under domes that were part of the original construction can still be seen here. They are part of the Roman monuments that were designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. But the Romans weren't the only ones to use the thermal springs here, as the land has been occupied by other people, such as the Moors, as we can see in the town's name, Alange, which is of Arabic origin.
Over the years the spa has been refurbished several times until it has become what it is today – important thermal baths that incorporate Roman constructions and modern infrastructure, offering you traditional therapies as well as the latest wellness and hydrotherapy trends. -
