One of the curious features that makes this bullring so special is the wine cellar under its stands.
Although it was initially built in 1843, the Almendralejo bullring was subsequently altered several times until becoming the unique, exclusive ring you can visit today. The Mudejar aesthetics of this bullring and its wrought iron details will surprise you.
One of the characteristics that sets this bullring apart from the rest in the region is the fact that it has a wine cellar under the front row of seats, created in the 20th century by the then-owner, entrepreneur Alfonso Iglesias.
